School magazine cover

For my magazine I have used a simple font with a slight swirl to it. This gives a classy and almost 'posh' look to the magazine. However it is not very bold therefore might not be clear enough for the audience to see as the colour of the font is suppose to be burgundy but this is not very clear and the audience might not think it goes along with the colour scheme. My main image is a member of the senior leader ship team (Miss Gould) but I have not mentioned this on my cover therefore this can confuse the audience as they might just think she is just a normal teacher. I have placed Miss Gould in front of this school, this is effective as it gives the audience a feel of the school. I have also included the school logo in the top right corner as a convention of the magazine. In the top left corner I have included the date of the magazine and the issue number, this is so the audience can always be aware of the latest issues. The first story to the left is about GCSE results and the title of it is a rhetorical question. This is effective as it can make the audience question and wonder on the answer making them want to pick it up and find out more. I have presented this story with pictures to make the cove more interesting and attractive. To the right is the second feature story, this is about the year 11 prom and is also presented with a picture from it containing the head of the year ( Mr Curnier) and four students. Beneath this story is a star containing information about a competition with a chance to win a £30 shopping voucher. Readers will be interested especially female students as it is also to a shop of there choice. I have also included logos for social sites and phone types implying an online edition of this magazine.
