School magazine analysis 1

The title of this magazine is a representation of how often it is produced 'weekly'. They could have done this to make it clearer and memorable when the magazine is released every week. This also links with the colour red as it is bold and makes a statement. The main image is what looks like a student attending this school, however from the front cover you don't know what school.  She is carrying school supplies and looking enthusiastic. This makes the magazine look more attractive. The bright colours attract a young audience as they are the colours that are related to their niche market, I know this because of seeing other examples. The red and blue is seen to be gender specific appealing to both make and female. The simple font gives a smart school feel, typically there is a variation in fonts to make different stories stand out therefore making it disadvantaged. The main stories and pictures are bold making them attractive on a shelf.
