Music magazine analysis 3

Q magazines simple colour scheme makes a bold yet elegant style, the bold red and simple bold font gives a statement making it attractive to the audience. The main image of international star Adele looks flush as well as her blowing in the wind links to the main stories sub title 'Adele blows us away'. This give the magazine an overall slick feeling. The fonts variation in size for the sub stories points out famous people/artists making the readers more interested to read about people they like. The conventions are: the title, main story, sub stories, barcode, date and issue number. The issue number is bold and encased in a gold circle pointing out its importance as it is the 300th issue, it also features a special musician Paul McCartney that is introduced by Q's 300th edition. The layout is very simple but effective as you can see each section of it clearly as well as having important parts of it in capitals to alert the reader of the important parts of the magazine.
