EMI

  • Was a multinational music recording and publishing company as well as some electronic devices and equipment. 
  • Headquarters are in London
  • At the time of its break-up in 2012 it was the fourth-largest business group and family of record labels  in the recording industries and was one of the big four record companies
  • Some of its record labels include EMI records, Parlophone and Capital records
  • Their major publishing are is EMI Music Publishing. They are based in London but have offices across the globe.
  • EMI publishing arm was sold to Universal Music group in 2011 and its publishing business  was sold to Sony/ATV
Warner Music Group
  • An American  Major global record company based in NYC
  • The largest American owned conglomerate worldwide and is one of the big three record companies.
  • Formerly owned by Time Warner, the world's largest media conglomerate, the company was publicly traded on the New York stock exchange until May 2001
  • Warner formed a partnership with MTV Networks in June 2010 that allows MTVN to exclusively sell ads on WMG's premium content.
Universal Music Group
  •  UMG is an American based but French owned multi music owned corporation 
  • It currently operates as a subsidiary of Paris-based media conglomerate Vivendi.
  • UMG also owns Universal Music Publishing Group, which is the second largest music publishing company in the world.
