This is my first initial draft for my magazine cover. I used a bold and dramatic font (that I downloaded from font space) for my title to help it stand out on a shelf, My main image is covering the whole page showing a soft side to the artist features. I tried to keep it to the same colour scheme and have alternative fonts on my front cover to keep it interesting and to help it stand out. Some stories are in boxes to illustrate its importance and to make it more edgy. I have included traditional conventions such as the barcode on which I have placed at the bottom of the page, I have also included the issue number and date however you can not see this so I plan to change it in my next draft. I have also used photoshop to place my magazine on a stand to see how it looks and what I can do to make it stand out more. Monday, 3 February 2014
